A 90-Day Content Plan for Construction and Trades Businesses

Construction worker filming site progress on a phone gimbal

Trades businesses rarely need more ideas; they need a repeatable capture routine. Every job site produces before-and-afters, problem diagnoses, material comparisons, and safety practices — the exact things buyers search for.

Days 1–30: build the pages that rank

Publish one focused page per service and one per area you serve. Each page needs real photos of your own work, a price range, typical timeline, and three FAQs drawn from what customers actually ask on the phone.

  • One page per service line, one per service area
  • Ten project pages with photos, scope, duration, and outcome
  • Structured data for LocalBusiness and Service on every page

Days 31–60: capture the work as it happens

Assign one crew member to film 60 seconds a day: the problem uncovered, the method, the finished result. Batch that footage weekly into one long-form video and five short cutdowns.

Days 61–90: convert the audience you built

Add a quote request form on every service page, an automated acknowledgement email with your capability deck, and a monthly newsletter of recent projects to past customers and referral partners. Repeat business and referrals are the cheapest revenue in the trade.

What to measure

Track quote requests by service page, close rate by source, and average project value. Within one quarter you will know which service lines deserve more content and which deserve none.
